DailyNest: Daily Services

Information We Collect

When you use DailyNest, we may collect the following information:

• Full Name – for your profile and delivery identification
• Email Address – for account creation and login
• Phone Number – for contact between providers and consumers
• Location Details (State, City, Area, Landmark, Pincode) – to match you with nearby tiffin providers and allow you to filter/search for providers in your area
• User Role – whether you are a tiffin provider or consumer
• Subscription Details – meal plan type, subscription status, and monthly amount payable to the provider
• Tiffin Service Details – business name, service description, and daily pricing (applicable to Providers only)

ℹ️ DailyNest displays the monthly amount a consumer owes their tiffin provider for informational purposes only. The app does not process, collect, or handle any payments. All transactions are settled offline directly between the provider and consumer.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your DailyNest account
• Connect consumers with tiffin service providers
• Process and manage tiffin subscriptions

Data Storage & Security

All data is securely stored using Google Firebase (Firestore & Firebase Authentication). Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, including the use of Google Play Integrity API (App Check) to prevent bot traffic and abuse.

To ensure the app loads quickly and functions reliably even on slow networks, non-sensitive profile and subscription data may be temporarily cached locally on your device.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your information may be shared only in the following circumstances:

• Between consumers and providers within the app (e.g., name and contact for delivery)
• With Google Firebase as our backend infrastructure provider
• When required by law or legal process

Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account

Children's Privacy

DailyNest is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
